UWC Day 2024: 1st Annual UWC Convocation

We are thrilled to invite you to a special celebration that marks both a new beginning and a cherished tradition within the UWC community.

On September 21st, we will gather for UWC Day—the annual global celebration of our shared mission and values. This year, we are also excited to introduce the first-ever UWC Convocation to welcome our community's newest members: Davis UWC Scholars arriving in the NYC metro area this fall. For those of you arriving as first year Davis Scholars, there will be a welcome gift package for you!

This year's theme is "Together We Change”. Throughout the day, you’ll have the opportunity to hear from speakers and engage in small group discussions designed to inspire and showcase the power of collective action.

After the main events conclude at NYU at 6 PM, we’ll head over to Malt House Greenwich Village (206 Thompson St), just a short walk away, for happy hour. We'll have a whole room to ourselves :) Appetizers and one Novofogo drink at the happy hour are included in the ticket.
